Phone icon has disappeared on my iPad air2-- have reset home screen with no r sults

Phone icon has disappeared on my iPad Air 2. Now unable to answer calls. Have reset home screen, had guy from Best Buy look at it-- no luck

Your iPad Air 2 shouldn't have a phone app. Was it jail broken or something? Or maybe it was a third party app on the App Store that you just need to download again?

You will get a phone icon on your device if you install a phone application from iTunes.
