Welcome to iMore. This depends on what you plan on using it for. If you use it for movies, you may want to go with 128GB. Or you have a large music library you want to keep on it, then again the 128GB may be the better choice. Photos can take up a lot of space as well. Those are probably the three things that can take up the most space. If you are just using it for web browsing or apps then the 64GB will be plenty. I travel with mine and use Plex for my movies, but have a large music library I keep on it, so the 128GB best suited my needs. You need to write down what you are planning on using it for and that will be your biggest help in making a final decision. I also have a 16GB for at home as it is only used for web browsing and the occasional app. It is for family use and I do not store anything on it so 16GB was more than enough.

It depends on your usage. I would personally wait for the iPad Air 3. If you still want to get the Air 2 and have some extra cash, grab the 128gb.
