So im eyeing replacing my old ipad 4 with a new one, however I have no clue if its best to buy now or what till early next year. I know chances are theyre will be a new one late next year, im more concerned if they might release one in the beginning of the year. What do we think the chances of that are? is the Air 2 good enough now?

Air 2 is plenty good enough. I doubt there will be a new iPad Air in the next six months.
yeah, I hear its benchmarks are bananas.

Just got mine last week. It's quite incredible.

Go for Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals if you can wait. I'm impatient, I couldn't wait. I wanted to watch movies on it...

They didn't announce it at the September event when they did the other iPads. My money is on "it's not coming this year".
Probably next year right? Hey, when is that Pro set to be released?

Pro is coming in November. I haven't seen an exact date yet, but that doesn't mean it wasn't announced.

The Air 2 is very good. The Air 2 running IOS9 is the champagne cork popping off. I don't expect a new Air before next September, though, but that's no big deal because seriously, the Air 2 is that good.

Yeah if an Air 3 comes out I don't think it will be until mid 2016

I'd say that Apple is waiting on a complete redesign for the iPad line. I'm sure they want to add 3-D touch to the tablets.
