iPad 4 not going to 4g

Hi all

I'm traveling in a city that has 4g. My phone and my wife's phone show 4G but my ipad 4 stays on 3G. It's SLOW!

Any thoughts?

Have you tried resetting the network settings? Maybe looking at "3G" instead of "4G" is making you think its slow. It may be all in the mind...
One last thing. I'm not sure about this, but could it be that the iPad and your iPhones use different LTE bands?

Any help on this? I am back home now and it will only do 3G. Will do wifi with no issue. And yes, when in cellular mode it is much slower.
