Notes won't transfer from iPhone to iPad

After I activated my iPad recently much of the info from my iPhone transferred over such as contacts, reminders, calendar, email, photo stream...but not the stock notes app. Anyone seen this before?

Try deleting the iCloud account on your iPad, reboot it and then re-configure iCloud on it. make sure "ON" is displayed next to Notes in the iCloud settings.
