All I meant was that I didn't have a bunch of games, music, and movies, like some of my co-workers who are on their 20's. Age really has nothing to do with it, and I don't know why I typed that.

Hehe! Don't take it personally. I'm on a crusade to get my generation tech savvy and to stop using age as a weapon against tech.

32GB seems fine with me I filled my iPhone 4 16GB model up after 2 years. I plan on upgrading my iPad to 32GB at some point but I put all my music on my iPhone.

More and more apps are growing in size. I like to carry. Few movies with me and of course my music. Since the 3G I always had about half of the 16gb free (my 3G, 4, and now 5 were/are 16gb) but recently just by adding a half dozen apps I am almost full. I would welcome a 128gb iPhone to throw one or two more movies on.

I won't need 128 GB. I have a 16 GB iPhone 4S and a 32 GB iPad currently use less than 4 GB on each of them.

Shut up Apple and take my money! :D

But anyway I have a 64Gb iPad 2 and I only have about 6Gb left.....

So I will be getting this in black with Verizon LTE.

128GB is good option, however, they should have killed 32GB and dropped the price of 64 to the price of 32, and the sell the 128GB to the price of 64GB!

Everyone's use will be different. Just because someone doesn't use more than 16gb doesn't mean everyone else is the same. Or vice Versa. I have a 64gb ipad and I hear it all the time. "Why do you need so much".

I have around 20gb in books and magazines (some new books are coming in at GB's in size), 10gb in apps, around 20-30gb in photo backups using the camera connection kit (I'm a photographer and I back up to iPad and MBA on the go). I'm maxed out on my 64gb and have to shuffle data on/off all the time. Annoying.

I would love the 128gb option so I would be able to do everything I'm doing now plus have movies and TV shows stored on my ipad for when I Travel.

Cloud storage is great, and as a photographer I have around 210gb in cloud storage. But accessing it is slower and more cumbersome than having files locally. Both are great options and have great uses for them (cloud vs local storage)

And again, just because I would use 128gb doesn't mean everyone will or should. Get the size appropriate for your usage and why even criticize another person's storage choice? Just as much as one believes he/she doesn't need over 16gb, one might feel just as strongly that they do. Just a thought.

We live in a work where many people just believe that their way is the only way. Sigh...

I would agree with you. The only exception is to drop the 16GB and start with 32 on the low end. Nowadays you can fill up 16GB rather quickly....

799 may seem like a lot for a tablet. But if you're thinking of upgrading storage, it's the cheapest per gb of storage you'll get even though it's 300.00 extra.

From 16gb to 32gb, you'll pay 6.25 per extra gb.
From 16gb to 64gb, you'll pay 4.17 per extra gb.
From 16gb to 128gb, you'll pay 2.68 per extra gb.

I've always either gotten a 16gb, cheapest, or 64gb, best value for storage. In the future, i'd go 16gb or 128gb. Depending on your needs of course.

I'd have more of a problem buying a 32gb device (out of all of them) knowing that extra 100 is just going towards 16 extra gb's.

For a Mini though starting at 329, I'm not sure I could add 300 more to it (not that it's being offered). You start getting away from its purpose. Cheap, thin and light. Plus if you upgrade annually, the max storage takes a tumble in resale. The max makes more sense to consider if you plan on keeping it for quite awhile.

I was hoping that Future Shop would have them today, but no luck....I've got $100 in gift cards, so the 128GB would work out to be the same as a 64GB

Yeah I called all over Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and NONE had the 128gb on Verizon. So I got the 64 for now until the 128 comes in.
