USB headset

Well i was thinking on buying USB headsets to use them on my laptop but i wonder if i could use them on an iPad... i got the 30 pin Dock Connector to Micro USB adapter and the converter from USB to mini USB so if i connect the headsets to the mini USB converter and the mini USB converter to the 30 pin Dock Connector would they work?

Also i'd like to know if they would work on the mini iPad and the others iPads
