Is the iPad 3 not bright on full brightness?

My iPad 3 seems like it is not as bright as it can get on full brightness. Is anyone else facing this???

If there is an Apple Store nearby, take it there and have one of the geniuses look at it. I don't have an iPad 3, but my iPad 2 gets way brighter than what is depicted via your photo.

My iPad 3 is plenty bright. In fact I have it turned down to half way most of the time. I'd have someone look at it if you're having problems.

Agreed, my iPad 3 is usually set to half scale and its pretty bright. I'd take it into an apple store to get it checked out.

I think the 3 is definitely not as bright as the 2 was. But I am fine with it because I always turn the brightness way down.

I have to keep mine low (about 1/4 of the way) because I find it almost too bright. It's not the auto-brightness messing around with you is it?
