We put a Griffin Survivor on grandsons ipad and it could with stand anything!! But it was heavy and felt so big. We now have the Life Proof and really like it so far. And a Zagg screen protector.

We have an Otterbox Defendernon my wife's iPad that the kids play. It's thick, heavy and kind of klunky but it protects the iPad extremely well.
