    The front page reports on information from other sites all the time (with a link to the original, of course). Mostly "newsy" type of information.

    For example, this is sourced from WSJ: Google reportedly putting finishing touches on native iOS maps app, Eddy Cue going hands-on with iOS 6 maps | iMore.com
    This from Next Web: Increased cellular data use may be linked to streaming bug in iOS 6.0 | iMore.com
    This from All Things D: iPad mini not cannibalizing demand for larger iPad | iMore.com

    It is not that ALL of the items on the front page are original reporting (although it often is).

    Now, admittedly, pressure testing iPads does not rise to the level of importance of some other news items ...
