Gmail access issues

I have the new iPad and am trying to access my gmail account thru google's site directly and receive an error, which is :
This page contains the following errors:

error on line 7 at column 12: AttValue: " or ' expected
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

It is in a pink box and does not go to the login page.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I just tried accessing https://mail.google.com via Safari on my iPad 2 and got the same error. I received the same error when I tried to access it via the Chrome browser. To bypass the error, I logged into Google reader and then entered Gmail successfully.

I have the EXACT same problem, the symptoms are identical. The problem began yesterday around 4:00pm CST. I still have access on my iMac desktop but am getting the same error message on my iPad 2. I tried a number of items recommended by Google on their website but none work. ?????????
