Cash plus iphone 4s?

I was wondering if I want to try and sell my ipad 3rd generation on craigslist if I can lump it for an iphone 4s and cash, I currently have the iphone 4 but am not eligble for an upgrade anytime soon. I know iphone 5 is coming out soon as well but I'm not sure i'd get the same cash value. If I do the iphone and cash how much cash should I make them throw in? The ipad is the 64 gb wifi only with a folio case.

In my area, the 4S is going for 350-400 on CL. Your 64GB IP3 was about $700 wasn't it? I would want their 4S and $250-300 in cash.

Why do you want to sell your iPad? I'd it just to get cash for the 4S? Because I think that I would rather keep the iPhone 4 and the iPad 3.

Ummm last I checked yeah it is. The phone is faster smarter with better internals and camera, maybe not enough to make you happy but definitely a upgrade.

Camera, processor, Siri, etc were all upgrades of the 4S. There is a difference between this and the 4.

Yep, besides the screen, almost everything in the 4S was new & upgraded. I don't blame people for not knowing though since it does look the same and Apple has done nothing but highlight Siri for marketing.

If all future iphones had this degree of updates, I'd update every year. Umm..well i guess i already do that.

I disagree it's definitely a upgrade. The phone itself does operate faster, I get slightly improved cell coverage and of course Siri which personally I liked the original before apple bought them.
