Were you able to pre-order your new iPad?

Seems like Apple's order system is taking a beating (as usual with any new product). After about 90 minutes, I was able to place my order for a 64GB white model.

Any of you have any luck? How far along in the process did you get before Apple smashed your hopes and dreams?

Wow from these post I got lucky took me no longer than 30 minutes and got a white 32 gig wifi only. With a navy blue smart cover!!!! Anybody knows if the iPad 2 dock will fit the new one?

Took me about 30 minutes to order 16GB Verizon 4G version.
Now all I have to do is ship iPad2 16GB I sold on eBay for $410 this morning and wait a week for new one.
Why wait on line when I can have it delivered to my front door?

I'm eyeing the Verizon 64B version. By working rewards from my credit card and local grocery store, I can save about 12.5% if I buy it from a store where my grocery store sells gift cards to - in this case, Best Buy. The "apple" of my eye (heh, heh) will cost me about $900. By buying $900 in Best Buy gift cards at the grocery store, I will get an additional $27 in CC rewards, and the gas savings will total around $87. Okay, I may have to wait in line for a while, or worst case wait a couple of weeks if I order it online, but I just can't justify spending an extra $114 to have it a week early!

Yup took me about 60 minutes or so to finally get an iPad in my cart. I opted to go all-out this time with a 64gb (Verizon) 4G white model since I went 16gb wifi only with my iPad2.
