How do you connect the ipad2 to a wireless printer

I have a iPad 2 and we purchased a wireless printer from Best Buy but I can't figure out how I connect the iPad with the printer to print something

Does your iPad 2 support AirPrint?
Does the printer support AirPrint?

Both of those conditions would need to be true in order to print wirelessly from your iPad.
