My iPad 2 is very sluggish, how can I speed it up?

Ipad 2 very sluggish.

My iPad 2 is running very sluggish, there not many programs on there but runs very slow, I upgraded to ios9 and still sluggish, any suggestions?

Use it for a couple of days to give the OS a chance to "settle in". At first, mine seemed slow, but it doesn't now.

I also have an old iPad 2 that i used every so often...I rolled mine back to 8.4.1 from 9.0 much better and it will stay that way
