Do the 3G Verizon iPads still have the $20 1gb option? Their Android tablets on contract don't but I thought the iPad prepaid still had the $20 option. Thanks.

They wont let you use the 1GB/$20 plan for the ipad.

I originally got the Galaxy Tab with that plan, I bought an ipad 2 and they forced me to switch to the 2GB/$30 plan.

But I'm sure if you keep on calling the right c/rep at the right time will let you keep the grandfathered plan.

For me I needed the extra GB so I didn't mind upgrading the plan.

If you activate it yourself you can get the 1gb plan. Dont have a VZW rep do it or the only option is the 2gb plan.

I activated a 1gb $20 plan on the iPad 2. They tried to ask me in the Best Buy store what plan I wanted and the $20 plan was not listed, so I said I would decide later. I wouldn't have gotten the 3G model if the $20 wasn't an option. I'm not paying for another $30 data plan in addition to my phone.
