copy pictures to iPad help

looking for a means to copy picture folders (at full resolution) to my iPad 2 with USB or wifi. I have found a few options to copy pictures files alone via USB but no folders and you have to go through an app (Photo Manager Pro). I have also used Photo Sync to copy folder via wifi but it is not very stable.

Any suggestions of something you have found that works.

For those interested, I am editing photos on my iPad and would like to do it with the high res pics.

I hope I understand the issue here. (new to iPad and Apple)

I just synced several picture folders from My Pictures on my Windows Laptop (XP) using the usb cable to my iPad2. Used current iTunes , just clicked the folders to sync)

However, it will not display a sub folder in My Pictures. So my solution to this would be to remove sub folders to folders of there own.
