Upgrading to late?

Hey guys, I have an original iPad 32 gb and while i use it to its full functionality, I have noticed the slow down from the processor and the new iOS and I was wondering if you guys think it is to late to upgrade to the iPad 2 or you guys you think i should wait the however so months for the iPad 3? The iPad 1 is in complete useable condition, just one bump on it but still feaning for that extra speed and lightness and thinness factor. Thank you!

When I installed iOS 5 on mine, I set it up as a new device rather than restore from backup so it doesn't feel slow to me.

If I were you, I would wait if I can. I mean, it's still working and nothing's wrong with it.

Yeah as I did to. Im thinking I should do a full restore again on the iPad, but then should i restore as a backup from icloud? or delete te backup and startup as fresh again.
