    Hello..

Just bought an Pad 2 when I connect it via USB in my computer it shows not charging.

When I plug it in the Wall Charger no problem shows it charging. Do I have a issue?

    TIA

I plugged my iPad in the Mac we have in the house andif I recall it charges. If that's the case my guess it only charges on macs.

Your USB port isn't providing enough power to charge the device. However, I have noticed if the screen is off the device will actually charge.

Does anybody know if iPad will charge through eSATA/USB universal port? I think they should have more power than USB only ? How about USB3 ?
Another question if I buy iPhone car charger (it is not specified that this can be sed with iPad as well) will it charge iPad ?

Depends on the machine. My iMac charges my iPad 2, my old PC not. As someone said before is about the current thought the USB port. Most recent USB 2 should charge it.

Depends on the amperage the charger puts out - if it's rated at 1 amp, it will run an ipad, and not charge - if it's 2 amp, it will run and charge an iPad.
