    I have a question for anyone that can help.. I downloaded xcode 3 to enable gestures on ipad 2..working just fine. however, now that I downloaded xcode which is a big file, can I uninstall xcode now? will it remove the gestures once I delete it? thanks...

    You can uninstall it, but if you have to do a restore or anything on your iPad you'll have to install it again to get the gestures feature back. Unless Apple actually enables those, which I just don't get why they didn't to begin with.

    I have Xcode 3 as well I thought you need Xcode 4 to enable gestures on iPad 4.3? Just curious.

    No you do not! You can use the previous version which was free to do the same thing.

    There is no xcode for windows, it's Mac only.

    i enabled gestures on my iPad2 using iBackupBot.

    It was pretty easy to do and does not require a jail broken device.

    Here is the site with the steps:

    Only downside to using this method is there is no switch in settings to enable or disable it. It is just always on.
