Is the MagSafe animation not working for anyone else?

I just tried mine on a new leather case and nothing only shows charging on dynamic island.

It works with my apple silicone case, I just tried it.

Ok, I realized I get the animation with my case when the phone is on the Lock Screen.

So, when you take your Apple MagSafe case off and put it back on, do you get an animation. I just noticed that I no longer get the purple (dark cherry or whatever Apple called it) animation when I put my Apple MagSafe leather case back on.

I definitely do with my leather case, also when I put the apple wallet on.

I have a Spigen crystal case on my iPhone Pro and the animation works great.

Is the MagSafe animation (green sharing ring) not working for anyone else? I’ve tried several cases and chargers and nothing. Searched around the inter webs some and there are reports of “a bug”, and the Apple forums are about worthless.

Just wanted to see if it was just me.

I believe the animation is tied to the NFC Chip. I believe when I reset network setting that must have reset something with the NFC Chip.
