Not sure if it did this in the last beta, but it asks if you want to download over cellular if you leave Wi-Fi. Sorry, forgot to screenshot that.

I’ve already installed it and am currently installing the latest dev beta for my iPad Pro.

I’ve got to test the CarPlay feature to see if it fixed the issue with it not responding when pressing the button on my steering wheel.

According to a certain site.. looks like the API for Live Activities is available for developers. I’m actually kind of excited to try this out.

Let’s hope we get to see it in action when football season begins. Like you, I’m excited about this feature.

Anyone able to add drivers license to the Wallet app? I can scan the front of the ID, but when scanning the back it just tells me no barcode detected.

It was there in iOS 15, it even asked me to install the beta over 4G. If I recall correctly, it arrived somewhere mid-cycle.

I haven't tried it yet. Is it still limited to Arizona and Maryland?

Yes, it is. And from what I’ve been told by Apple and the MVD is that I don’t need a new/updated license. Already submitted the feedback to Apple. So let’s see what happens lol

The CarPlay issue I was having has been resolved, however, I dislike the new sound it makes when Siri is enabled.

Had no idea you could do this, but tapping on the location or the weather widget will open the weather app. Wish you could tap on the battery widget to cycle through connected devices.

I'm installing beta 4, so I will have some experience tomorrow :)

What new sound? Is it the same as beta 3?

I’m referring to the classic Siri tone when initially activated. It’s different and I noticed it in the previous beta, but I assumed it was a bug or something.

One small thing I noticed is that when you’re editing the lock screen and you tap on whatever battery widget you have it allows you to turn off automatic detection of whatever device the phone wants to keep track of. I turned it off so it only displays the phone battery now.

I see. I find the new chime refreshing, it sounds the same (or very similar) to the one on the HomePod.

It would be great to have it configurable at least

Noticed this in the last two betas…

Apple has implemented the STIR/SHAKEN protocol that’s now required by the CRTC.
