The iPhone not unlocking the Apple Watch bug is still there, and it’s not just on Touch ID phones. It’s intermittent on my iPhone 12. Also, noticed there is a new drop down on the phone.

Was not unlocking using my Xr either.

Toggled the feature off and on again and it started working.

I did try that earlier. I unpaired the watch and re-paired it. Now, my phone is unlocking my watch! I did notice there is no drop down indicating the watch is unlocked.

I am having the same results as you. If my watch is locked and I manually lock my phone and unlock it again it seem to work pretty consistently. Initially unlocking my phone doe not unlock the watch.

Everything is working on my watch and iPhone. I checked first thing this morning, and it wasn't. So I did a soft restart, and then went into my settings and toggled the feature off and then on. I put my mask on, and "voila"... it worked.

As for unlocking my watch with my iPhone, that seems to be working just fine. If it's not working for you, you may want to go into settings on your Apple Watch, tap passcode, and see if "unlock with iPhone" is toggled on. If it is, toggle it off, then toggle it back on. Hopefully that will rectify the issue!

Same here. Except if I unlock my phone the first time the watch actually does unlock within 25-35 seconds.

The intermittent unlock watch bug is back. As is the drop down banner when the watch is unlocking/unlocked.
