Prediction Keyboard Not Working

The predictive ability on my keyboard worked on my old iPhone, but after restoring to a new iPhone it stopped working. The setting is on and I have tried resetting the keyboard dictionary.

How long has it been since you restored to your new iPhone? If it hasn’t been long, give it time to settle in.

Also, try adding another language to the keyboard and see if predictive works in that language. Then go check the English language and feel free to delete the other language if it’s working.

It's been several weeks and I have typed the same sentence about 20 times but iOS doesn't seem to be getting any better at predicting the next word.
