Let's post some screenshots of the 'Weather App' you are using. I'm sure the variety is expanding daily. Most do show location, but please also include if the display units are IMG_3259.jpg
in degrees F ( US) or degrees C ( elsewhere). eg I've posted from Barbados. Degrees C.

Re: Weather Widget Screenshots

I use Weather.app (on iOS), DarkSky (on iPadOS) and Weather.gc.ca (on macOS).

As any good Canadian, I complain about the cold weather and snow.🇨🇦
And it’s always in degrees Celsius, because that’s the only thing I understand.

Not sure if this is a 'Canada App store thing' or universal, but on iOS, the 'Weather' widget will bring up the full app display, however on iPadOS the widget will appear the same, but when tapped will open a Weather Channel webpage for a specified location. I'm glad the widget itself on iPad presents as it does as it used to be unavailable.

Weather Widget Screenshots

App is My Radar Pro.

My Radar Pro is my 'Go-To' for its radar presentations even though in areas not covered by traditional hi-def radar it uses algorithms and satellite to create excellent real time graphics. Like many weather apps, it's a 'source thing' and the forecast displays for many locations are also algorithm based and often spotty. In the Caribbean, once away from areas covered from Puerto Rico, or the French Govt source in Martinique, App developers have often to depend on computer generated & enhanced weather information -with varying degrees of accuracy. I have often liased with the 'My Radar' people and know of the obstacles they face from their perspective- but kudos to them for an excellent and constantly improving product.

Very nice!! I wish mine worked as well, but it's not the Beta, and I can only guess that re Accuracy, it's like what the Realtors mantra says about 'location, location'....

Thanks. I'm not on the BeWeather beta. The beta ended some time ago, this is the actual finished app. It's been pretty accurate for me lately.

The widget does the same thing in Canada. DarkSky is a preference thing for me :)

I guess that like all weather apps 'location' and 'source' are paramount for accuracy. But your set-up and icons are very nice - and I'd assume that stateside the accuracy is much better. However unless it's hurricane season, it's not a huge issue here.

I just wish Pfluger would make a weather widget for BeWeather, but it seems as though he's going to pass on that upgrade. Kinda disappointed to be honest.

I like the animation on 'Living Earth' and the Earth rotates along with the Stars in the background.

Weather App Screenshots

I am a subscriber to Carrot and use them heavily on my watch but I’m not a big fan of the iOS app itself.

I actually use either AccuWeather or Dark Sky because they have nicer future radar. Their future radar is built out on their normal 10 minute or so intervals while Carrot’s seems to only be built on a 45 minute/full hr interval, which makes it very choppy and lacking.

Thank you!! I have had 'Living Earth' on my iMac for a few years and their spinning globe is my screensaver. I think I'd purchased it it there without realizing that it has iOS versions. All of my cities are already there!! The accuracy of information from it is usually good. Next stop, let's try iPad (?)-.....yep - front page / dock stuff

Yes I agree with it being accurate. I've had it for years and I like the temperature badge on the iPhone icon.
