Got rid of all folders, just one Smart Stack don’t want to take a chance on widget overload . I don’t have a lot of apps I use mostly stock so the App Library organized them fine for me.

I don’t have too many apps that offer widgets, plus I still love an empty home screen. I removed my app page because I typically pull down & use search to find what I need. So I just added The Weather App widget & 2 small stacks (1 that includes the NY Post/Podcasts app & the other is Activity/Batteries) on the screen to the left of my home screen. Very simple & my home screen stays clear

Most of the things I want widgets for don’t have them and the most useful (for me) iOS apps like Find My and Favorites are gone. 🤷🏻*♀️
However a plus is I’ve finally learned how to make shortcuts. I also don’t like a cluttered screen so my apps remain in one row of folders at the top of my Home Screen and my most used apps on the second page. If they were widgets I’d turn them into a stack and that would make my little OCD heart happy.
Widgets are regulated to the Today screen. One Smart Stack with Weather, Calendar, Maps, Music, Photos and Siri Suggestions. Then shortcut widgets.

Like you, I like the simplicity.
Curious, why does the phone battery widget, show in yellow, versus green? Thanks

Believe me, I hear ya!

I am half tempted to start trying all these Shortcuts and changing icons/colours of the icons. But, that slow transition between Shortcuts to actually running the app, is making me take pause.

Fingers crossed more developers will design more widgets and offer more options :rotfl:

Simple gives me less anxiety LOL

It’s yellow because I had low power mode turned on.
