Ever since updating to iOS 12 I’ve noticed duplicate contacts showing up in my contacts and it would appear Facebook has something to do with it. Is there a feature somewhere that needs to be turned off so these duplicate contacts aren’t showing up?

No. Facebook integration is no more.
It used to be part of ios a few years ago, along with Twitter, but has been removed since iOS 10 I guess, if not earlier.

You will have to remove all duplicates yourself manually.

Hmm ok I’ll do that. Issue didn’t occur until updating to iOS 12. Thanks for the info.
