Try going to Settings/Safari and then under the General section there, you’ll see Block pop-ups. See if that helps.

You can also enable the Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.

You can also clear history and website data in settings, under safari. This will help temporarily until you visit a website that triggers those ads again. For a better fix, you’ll want to install an ad blocker like AdGuard.

I do have those both pop up and cross site tracker turned on. Thank you anyway.

Thank you, Matt. I have a VPN with ad blocked. I only use it when I’m on an unknown WiFi but maybe I need it more often.

Sometimes ad blockers need to be updated. Perhaps that is the case here? Otherwise, I would look at getting a different one.
