Pop-up is gone from iPhone 8+ with the new beta 12. But I can confirm that the pop-up is still there in my wife's 8 with 11.4.1, which was the public beta, never replaced with the official 11.4.1. I removed the beta profile without rebooting, and it was still there. I then did a reboot, but she had to leave, and I'll see if it's still there when she gets back. If it is, I'll see if there is the option to update to the official version of 11.4.1. If not, I'll install the public beta 12 of 12.0.

All this makes me think that the pop-up problem has to do with some end of life message being sent to Apple, a true EOL in the case of 11.4.1 beta, and a false one with the 12.0 beta.

Edit: After removing the public beta certificate, rebooting the phone, installing the official 11.4.1 iOS, the pop-up has disappeared. Now I know that our can't just leave the final beta iOS, even if it is virtually identical to the official release.
