If you were joining the free one it would be public. You'd have to pay to enroll into developer beta...

It's been sometime since I loaded the Beta Profile for iOS11, I've forgotten where I need to go to download the new beta software profile for iOS 12.. anyone?

never mind, found it. but when I download the public beta profile, it only gives me the option to "Open In..." Not sure what do do now. there does not seem to be an option to install.. this is on a 6s.

Open it in Safari, download the profile to your device and restart. When you restart go to general and software update and you’ll see the beta available to you.
