Hi. I’ve been reading ebooks on the phone since my Nokia days - started with Nokia 6630. Anyway, I’ve got a collection stored on OneDrive from where I simply transfer to my iPhone to read with the iBooks app.

Recently on iOS 11 I noticed that the ebook I’ve been reading would simply be deleted from the device and I’d have to connect to the internet to re-download it from OneDrive. This is a nuisance. I’ve moved to iOS 12 public beta and have experienced the same issue once or twice.

Is anybody else facing similar problems? How do you guys transfer ebooks to your iPhone from the cloud without resorting to iTunes?

Try storing them in iCloud instead of OneDrive.

Well, I’ve got over 11 gigs of ebooks lol. So it’s not feasible to store everything on iCloud. But for lack of better options I can periodically transfer few ebooks from OneDrive to iCloud for reading.
