Hi all!

I have a strange phenomenon on one of my iPhone Xs.

I try to enable WiFi sync, but the screen (on the phone) that informs how to do it does not go away after I enable the function.

This is what I’ve done:

- connect phone to my Mac
- click “sync over WiFi” checkbox
- click the “commit” button
- click “synchronise”
All in iTunes on the Mac.
Then I disconnect the cable from the phone.

I go to “general” -> “WiFi sync” on the phone and the information page is still displayed. The usual “synchronise now” button and time of last sync is not there.

But if I go to the Mac, the phone is still connected to iTunes. And if I click “synchronise” it performs a WiFi sync.

I’ve tried to restart iTunes and do the procedure over, same problem.
I re-started the settings app on the phone, same problem.
I re-started the phone, same problem.
I also did a “reset all contents and settings” on the phone and set it up as a new phone, same problem.
I have NOT done a re-install of iOS.

My other iPhone X does not have this problem. It was restored from a 7 plus that already had the WiFi sync enabled.

The phone with the problem was, at first, restored from a 7 that did not have the WiFi sync enabled.

I wonder if anyone of you have seen this?
Could it be an iOS 11 bug..? I don’t think it has to do with the phone (can’t imagine the hardware can do this).

Phones are running latest iOS (11.2.1).
Mac is running latest High Sierra (10.13.2) and iTunes (12.7.2)

Any and every idea welcome,
Sture
