How to rename a file in iOS 11

Someone emails me a pdf. On the iPhone, I save the pdf to iCloud Drive/Documents/[particular subfolder]. It successfully saves, and I see it in Documents[particular subfolder] on my MacBook. However, I don’t like the file name and I want to change it. I’m able to do so on my MacBook but I am unable to change the file name on my iPhone. I’m using an iPhone 7 running 11.0.3 and a MacBook Pro running High Sierra.

Lightly press on the file to bring up the options - one of which is "Rename".
