Figured out how to get rid of the app drawer in messaging

That app drawer popping up instead of a keyboard every time I went to reply to a text message I wasn't already in was driving me nuts. Just found out you can get rid of it (at least until the next time you use it). Just touch the gray app drawer icon thing next to the camera icon and swipe down. Bam it's gone until you touch the gray icon again to pop it up if you actually want to use something from it.

Not an option. Probably won't be. Way I look at it. Apple wants it there so you can go right to imessage app store.
