Easier Access to medical ID from the lock screen?

I think accessing your Medical ID from the lock screen is a very good idea. Having said that, I think the current method to access that information is not simple enough, especially in an emergency situation which can be stressful in and of itself. I think the option should be displayed everything the home or power button is pressed. What do you think?

As a new owner of an ICD, I've come to realize importance of having MedID info readily available...I think what's coming in iOS11 is fine... The key is educating EMS/First Responders and LEOs how to access it.

Maybe an option for a lock screen widget?

I do like the Medical ID feature in Apple Health, and how that information can be accessed in the Emergency dialer. Currently have iOS 10.3.3. Will take a look once iOS 11 (non-beta) is released to see if there are any changes.
