Perform a Reset After Updates?

I read some years ago that after an iOS update it was always good practice to do a factory restart of your iPhone, Is that really recommended now?

I ask as the latest update did include a change to the file system and it might seem logical to do a reset after a change like that.

You don't need to, but you can do it during the upgrade process if you want (either OTA or through iTunes). Just make sure your stuff is backed up, as you'd be starting fresh like a phone out of the box.
