Custom Ringtones

I know that most people tend to keep their phones on vibrate only these days but I wondered what methods people are using to create custom tones from either music or clips?

Back on iOS 6/7 I use to use iTunes and GarageBand to make or convert a tune. Now I use whatever is default as my Apple Watch S2 is enough to notify me of a call so don't ever listen to it.

I get ring tones from Zedge or I make them using any one of the free online conversion tools. They I sync them with iTunes.

I use one master ringtone, but then have separate ones for my family, etc.

But, I don't do it all that often. In fact, I'm no longer fond of using music clips as ring tones.

I don't know anyone who only uses vibrate. I never do. I use stock ringtones. I use songs for my wake up alarms, but get tired of them.

I believe the steps changed a little after iTunes 12. May want to update the tut.
