Honestly, I've found battery life hasn't been the same since iOS 8. Especially true on my iPad (which had *phenominal* battery life on standby under iOS8 that went down dramatically on 9, but has gotten somewhat better on 10.)

My 5s had a faulty battery as replaced under warranty. When the drain increases under 10 which was reported to have better battery I was worried until I noticed it was affecting both my iPad and iPhone 6s so would be huge coincidence if both devices went faulty at the same time. I'm putting it down to software

There is battery drainage issue after 10.1.1 beta 3 on wards. Although, some users have been saying they don't have any battery issue but all those who switched from 10.1.1 beta 3 to next update, they all experienced difference in battery drainage and this has been still in latest 10.2.1 beta 2.

This latest beta has been great for me... not complaining at all!

Incoming texts while screen is off, doesn't alert with sound, nor visual notification. If the screen is on, an incoming text will alert me with the sound, I have this installed on both phones, the beta-2 that is, and it is the same on both phones.

I have been experiencing good battery life on the latest beta release. Kind of wonky for the first 24 hours until it reindexed everything.

Still cannot receive sound notifications from incoming texts, or visual while screen is off. Only while screen is on. Both iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus.

Well...trying to go back to 10.2 and remove beta from main line....but....not doing well. ergg!! Followed the steps...and its still showing 10.2.1 with the beta build. dangit!!

Yes...i have an apple watch. but....its happening on both my devices, and i have my watch connected to only one of them.

All my notifications go to my watch first. I think it's supposed to be that way for all devices.

It wasn't like that for me, until the beta 2. My phone would still wake and sound the incoming tone to let me know.

Weird. I turned off bluetooth..to see if my issue would exist (no text sound alerts while screen off) and it started working right....only thing is...with bluetooth off, my apple watch still received texts from my phone..lol. After enabling bluetooth again....the alerts stopped, again. Darndest thing!

Nevermind... I see the watch has the ability to use wifi when not in bluetooth range. Didn't know that.

Moral of the story. My issue is that my texts don't alert me by sound or pop up, unless I turn Bluetooth off. It's obviously something to do with the beta' with regard to the Apple Watch.
