Up Next vs Calendar Widget

Calendar is just calendar.

'Up next' includes things like reminders (if due date set), alarms, calendar entries.

To be honest, I've removed the calendar widget and just use 'up next'

There's something to be said for also seeing a calendar, and not just events and reminders. I like it this way.

...while I use Fantasical 2 - using the full-month mode - which can include Reminders as part of its display. No either/or/both apps required.

I really like Widgetcal and iCal Widget. I use both for my Google Calendar.

The stock calendar widget never shows anything as far as I can tell. All upcoming calendar events show in the up next but never calendar. That's why I was asking thought maybe I was missing something.

I think it's a bug

For me, the stock calendar widget shows all my events for today that are not yet complete, and also shows all day events. Up Next only shows the next event on my calendar and never shows all day events.

On my iPhone 6S & iPad Air, The stock calendar widget only displays timed events
It does not display all day events.
