Where is the News info from in the News Widget?

I am in Canada where I thought the Apple News App is not available. But there is a News Widget in iOS10 which is generating news stories on my home page. Where is it from? I don't have the Apple News App installed and I can't even find it in the Cdn App store. Can I edit the News stories in that Widget or the sources?

News app was there since last few updates in the iOS 9 .If you go the the news app under the favourites bar below you can pick what news you want . The news app goes under the name of apple news in the store .Its here in UK ,sure should be there .

I'm from Malaysia and I noticed the same too - got the News widget but no actual News app. Meaning I can't edit the news sources

Just change the region to United States and automatically it will allow you to download the news app.
