Is Shuffle enabled on the new music app?

Unlike IOS9, where the shuffle feature was disabled, is it back with IOS10?

This brings to mind that I'd like to see the option to shuffle multiple playlists at once. Not just individual playlists alone.

well in IOS9, in order to shuffle songs, they had to be IN a playlist, rather than just in your music library. IOS8 allowed for shuffle of your music library, but that changed with IOS9.. I'm hoping IOS10 brings back the music library shuffle feature. Shuffling multiple playlists would also be slick...

Shuffle is all messed up. In the 'for you' section you can shuffle the recommended playlists and albums. You can also 'shuffle all' within your playlists and albums.

My issues is that you can't then stop shuffling. There is no toggle ... So my music always shuffles (which is annoying because I would like to listen to an album in order every once in a while, or certain playlists).

I've reported my findings to Apple.

Select songs then pick a song to start playing. Once on the "Now Playing" screen just scroll down & right beneath the playback controls, you'll see the shuffle & repeat options

BTW...iOS9 also allows you to shuffle your library.

Hmmm, that must have been added to later iterations of IOS9, because I dont think it was there when IOS9 first came out.. But heck yes! Works for me...Thanks!

Woah, I didn't even know you could keep swiping up from the now playing tab! Still having a few issues with the order of 'up next' songs, but I've found the shuffle toggle! Haha

I just figured it out the other day. I'm really going to have to play around to see what else I can find
