Re: iOS 10 Dev Beta 8 is Live

Interesting indeed.

That's what I thought, especially when it was showing in Settings > General > Software Update as a 1.95GB iOS 10 Update & not iOS 10.0.1.

They must have throw in a last minute bug fix just prior to theGM going live & didn't have chance to change the description to iOS 10.0.1.

Re: iOS 10 GM is Live

Here is a rule of thumb if you are installing the GM via iTunes. If you are using Windows, tough luck. It's a no go. If you are using El Capitan, make sure you have Xcode installed or else you will get error 14 and need to restore to 9.3.5. If you are on Sierra GM or the most recent betas, update at will. No need for Xcode to be installed.

There are still a few bugs that have been around since the mid-beta cycles and haven't been addressed, at least in my observation:

1. Safari doesn't automatically scroll when typing in comments, such as on this site. I have to zoom out so I can see the entire comment box and then there is no need to scroll.
2. When entering comments in Safari, it doesn't automatically change to a letter after using a comma. You have to manually change back to the letters or backspace to the comma and press space again and then it will change.

I haven't found any other issues, but I haven't really played with it a lot either. iPhone 6s Plus on Verizon - 64 gig

I thought the update option on iTunes for windows would work still... I did that with iOS 8 or 9 and it installed but iTunes wouldn't recognize my iPhone until Apple put out a new version of iTunes...

Yep the stickers will go live when iOS 10 is out for everyone.

On a side note I put the GM on my kids phones so they could start playing and showing it to friends
