Was this feature removed. I can't find the password settings menu under the App Store settings menu anymore.
It's still there under Settings > Touch ID & Passcode.
Nope it gives me the option to use Touch ID. I was able to just download free apps without a fingerprint or password before.
Ohhhhh you can still do that but you have to go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode, and turn off Touch ID for iTunes & App Store, then go to Settings > iTunes & App Store and a new field will appear that says something like "password settings". You can then select never require password for free apps.
Ahhhh gotcha! Thanks! I guess the fingerprint for free apps is less annoying than having to put my passcode in for paid apps
