Siri over corrects sometimes

Most of the time it is right, for instance if I say "I bought two sticks of gum too." It's gets that right. But sometimes especially longer sentences it types what I say correctly, but sometimes goes back and thinks it's correcting itself and it's wrong again. Is it sort of proofreading what I'm saying and thinking it's making it grammatically correct for me? It's annoying especially when I'm texting or posting, and I look at what was sent, and it changed it before I had a chance to re-correct it.

I don't know, but it's probably a good idea to proofread before allowing the message to be sent.

It's not as much as me needing to proofread. But I watch it type what I say correctly. Only to see it back up and redo the sentence then incorrectly. Sometimes it does that to the entire sentence. I'd like it to put it in red underline and let me decide if it's right. It might have come out in iOS 8 but it's getting worse.
