Alert sounds

On each 9, 9.01 and 9.02 I do not receive alert sounds for texts and gmail. Is there a fix for this? I've deleted the gmail app and installed ios clean. This is very annoying.

Is it all the time or intermittent? There was one instance when I got a Kakaotalk call and it didn't ring.

Settings > Sounds. Do you have alert tones assigned? Also go to Settings > Notifications and make sure you have sound notifications enabled for any app that you're not getting sound alerts from.

Its intermittent. I have all alert sounds enabled. Sometimes the chime, sometimes not.
