My iCloud Photos are being uploaded again after iOS 8.4/Apple Music

After updating my iPhone and iPad's to iOS 8.4 and OX 10.10.4 I subscribed to the new Apple Music Service. I then tried creating a profile photo in the new music app and it started restoring and updating my photos that are all now stored in iCloud.There were over 5000 and now I have 1500 to upload and re-download again. Am hoping it all sorts itself out and merges with them on my iPad and Mac which as yet haven't encountered the same problem. It all seemed to start from the photo picker when I went to create that profile picture.Just wondered if I am as usual an edge case or has this happened to anyone else?

You may be right but I just wondered if it is a more widespread problem either when people update to iOS 8.4 or try adding a photo to their profile in the music app hence the question? Appreciate your swift response (no pun intended)!
