So it does really save batt if we delete facebook?
Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. They use it all. If you don't delete them, at least turn off location services and background app refresh for all 3 and only use them on wifi.

I just switched into low power mode and it seems to really help with Battery life.

I agree, the drain on iPhone 6, iPad Air 2 and Watch are scary. Can't wait for next release

I׳ve got an iPhone 6 Plus. I noticed that the usage in the settings are going up by its self.
Like something is keep using the CPU and draining the battery. I have turned off all the features that I know of. Btw somehow When I was on iOS 8.3 I have got only 2-4 hours of usage before getting to low battery >< have no idea why. oh and did you know that they didn't fix the battery jump in iOS 8 ? if you will go down to 61% it will go down to 59% and so on. (55%-53%)

The only solution for those who would like to keep using Beta 1 and need more battery, get an external battery pack or charging case. This is a frequent issue that us "crazy ones" who often go down this path (mind you my main phone remains firmly on 8.3).

Other things you could try (in no specific order)

Start from a fresh install (I think this is a key bit, try not to restore from backup, just start with a blank phone) install as few third party apps as possible, turn off background app refresh, turn off any notifications you don't need, keep screen brightness to a minimum, ensure that you have a strong cell signal where you leave your phone (especially if you don't have WIFI), set auto-lock to a low value, don't use iTunes Wi-Fi Sync (it is unusable in my experience anyway) and always have a path back to the last supported version if you need the phone for anything more than playing.

Most of all, when you have something new to play with, you'll play with it, meaning screen is turned on more and you will by this simple truth use more battery. Betas will have additional logging and telemetry that will impact on performance and battery, this will from time to time make your device feel un-usable, but you already know all this and made the decision to check out the new stuff anyway (this is a good thing, don't fight it, just be realistic about what your outcomes will be).

This is a beta, why would you spend $100+ on an extra battery for a temporary issue
