How to find old slideshow music from iPhoto on the new photo app in IOS 8

My daughters college graduation slideshow with music is gone in the new Photo app. I need it for her graduation on Friday. The pictures in the album are there, but not the music i worked so hard to connect with the show. The music came from the music loaded standard in iPhoto. How can i get it back? Can anyone help? Do i need to go back and reload the old system from a previous backup and will that work?

Look in your Mac apps folder and see if iPhoto is still there... Updating to Yosemite left iPhoto there when I did it...nothing was uninstalled.
