iPad Air 2 battery life on 8.3

Not as good. I can't tell really what is causing it, my usage settings say it's safari and kindle, but it doesn't seem that high and I turn off my apps when not in use.
So I have kindle turned off but it still using 34%.
I'm clearly not understanding something...
But my battery life just isn't as good as it used to be.

Any suggestions welcome.

This, I have no idea. I've done a soft reset, a reboot... I'd rather not have to do another factory reset if I can help it.
About my battery, I seem to be using an average of 15% per hour just browsing. Seems a little excessive, doesn't it?

I go from 100% at 5:30am to 20% by 8:00am. Your fine. A lot has to do with what you do. Browsing what? Facebook uses a lot as does Twitter.

Ah, ok. I do Facebook, Twitter, a bunch of online communities like this one, I read news... That's early morning.
Then throughout the day I do a bunch of google searches, I use notes a lot right now because I'm preparing to teach a course, I email a lot.
