Has Apple stopped signing IOS7?

Upgraded Ipad3 from 7.x to 8.2 OTA

Have not yet searched for any ipsw files for download for 7.1.2. Pointless I am reading if they have stopped signing

Bottom line. Upgrade to 8.2 really slowed down my iPad 3.

Is there now no way to downgrade?

Ok. So re install all apps and data from icloud backup after a wipe? I do not have a backup on pc so this seems to be the only action and it would mean still 8.2 but cleanly loaded apps and settings.

Yep. Many, many moons ago.

Thank you for confirming. I think best approach is factory reset now that I am on 8.2 and then reinstall from iCloud. All else fails. Gift the Ipad3 and get the Air2.
